We're on a train to Osaka and Shane calls to see if we're stopping by that night. He mentions that he's gonna be going to Naoki's garage to do some prep for a drift event that weekend. Didn't take me but a second to realize that I'd be going to one of the most well known driver's garage that night. I said yes.
That weekend Emerson, Matt and I took a train and rented a car to head out to Meihan Circuit. We got there at around 2pm. It was snowing. It was cold, but shit- we were at MEIHAN! Not an hour passed until they called a drivers meeting to say that they were going to forego the rest of the event due to weather. Bummer!
It's okay though. We still got to see and hear one of the most influential drivers of the recent years drive on a course that's most well known because of the aggressive flick and angle that drivers throw on. Next time! Thanks to: Shane from Stacked inc, (http://www.stacked.co.jp) Naoki Nakamura and friends for the hospitality.
